Today is release day Wrench in the Works. Their new album "Decrease/Increase" got a 9/10 review in Outburn Magazine. You can now hear their new song "A Desert Voice" on RadioU Hardcore. Also, we will be talking to Andy from Wrench in the Works on March 26th. Underoath has just announced that they will be releasing another live album. They recorded their show from The Koko in London on March 11th and it will be available online and on all of the dates of their upcoming European tour. Although Demon Hunter’s Ryan Clark left tour rumors up to speculation during his interview with The R!OT, the beans have officially been spilled. As I Lay Dying has announced that they will be headlining the tour this spring and Demon Hunter, War of Ages and Blessthefall will support them. That tour starts on April 29th and Demon Hunter has posted the full list of tour dates on their MySpace page. As I Lay Dying has also released the album artwork for their new record “The Powerless Rise,” which you can check out at tvulive.com. While you’re there you can also link up to at thirty-minute interview with lead singer Tim Lambesis about the new album, Austrian Death Machine, the new tour and more.
A Plea for Purging lead singer Andy Atkins has just announced through his blog that the band is recording a new album. They are at Foundation Studios in Indiana with producer Joey Sturgis working on their next full-length which will be called “The Marriage of Heaven and Hell.” According to Atkins, “I am way excited to see what comes out of this record. This will definitely be the crowning achievement of my life so far. I have a lot of hope for it.” To find out more, follow Andy on tumblr.
I Am Alpha and Omega has just finished up recording their first full length album. It will be call "The Roar and The Whisper" and it is currently being mastered by Alan Douches (Zao, A Plea For Purging). No word yet on a release date.

Demon Hunter’s new album "The World Is A Thorn" drops today. RadioU is giving away the album all day long, and all winners are eligible for the grand prize which will be given away on tonight’s Ten Most Wanted Countdown. The grand prize includes a Demon Hunter Zip Hoodie, a Demon Hunter Canvas Field Bag, the entire Demon Hunter CD Library, and a signed copy of new CD. War of Ages has been gearing up for the release of their new album “Eternal.” The album comes out on April 13th through Facedown Records, and although you can’t hear any new music online yet, you can see the album artwork and track listing. Two of the new tracks features guest vocals, one from Tim Lambesis, frontman of As I Lay Dying/Austrian Death Machine, and the other from Sonny of P.O.D. They recorded the album with Tim Lambesis at his studio in San Marcos, California. Also, rumors are currently circulating about War of Ages inclusion on the spring tour with As I Lay Dying and Demon Hunter. Find out more here.

Gwen Stacy has posted their first and second tour vlog from the "Left Coast Ballin’ Tour." They had a lot of van troubles, especially with the wheels, all which can be seen here. The tour will be ending this Friday.
Bruce from Living Sacrifice recently broke his leg during a performance of their song "Reject" at a show in South Carolina. Even with a broken leg he finished up the last couple of dates on the tour. That dude truly is a hardcore veteran.
HM Magazine has posted their own version of a Hitler video on youtube, making fun of the fact that Flatfoot 56 made it on the cover instead of Demon Hunter. The new issue features Before Their Eyes, Mattie of For Today, Demon Hunter, War Of Ages and the readers choice awards. Also, if you are into mags, Hopecore Magazine features interviews with Underoath, Wrench In The Works, Before There Was Rosalyn and Close Your Eyes.
August Burns Red has recently posted a new vlog highlighting their year in 2009.
A Hope For Home explains their new album "Realis" which drops March 30th on Facedown Records.

Solid State Records has just announced "To Speak Of Wolves" debut album will be titled “Myself < Letting Go”. The album was mixed by Jason Suecof (August Burns Red) and will be releasing on May 18th. You can see the new album artwork here.

Although it hasn't been officially announced yet, according to the new ads for Demon Hunter's new album in AP and Revolver Magazine, they will be supporting As I Lay Dying on tour this Spring. No dates have been announced. The band has continued on releasing something new everyday during the 50 Days Of Demon Hunter. They now have five new songs which you can listen to here as well as a ton of updates.
Norma Jean has released their brand new video "Kill More Presidents" as a free download. This video was made with the help from their fans sending in their video footage from their recent tour.
The Burial entered the studio on February 23rd. They have a studio vlog which can be seen here. The new album appears to be called "The Winepress," and you can watch the band live here during the recording process until they leave the studio on March 11th. |
