A little over a week ago, Blessed By A Broken Heart's bus broke down. The wrote a song about it called "Stuck In Texas" seeking help and donations. Since then, they have scrapped the tiger bus and bought a van. Just when all seemed well, a belt broke and later they noticed a broken wheel hub, and their tralier broke an axle. Finally, they decided to rent a Uhaul to get back on the "Scream The Prayer Tour." You can follow all their shenanigans on Facebook.
It has been a bad week for bands. Blessed By A Broken Heart had vehicle issues (see above story), Before There Was Rosalyn’s trailer was stolen, Becoming The Archetype wrecked last night on the interstate and busted up their trailer, The Color Morale just had their van break down, and Call To Preserve had their van break down as well. Maybe there is something in the gas.
The Showdown recently shot a new music video for their new song, "Man Named Hell." According to these pictures and it appears as though the video is going to feature an awesome motorcycle jump.
Mantric has completed their second day of shooting a new video. It appears that this video is literally going to be brutal. You can also read a short interview with Mantric here.
Gwent Stacy is currently out on the "No Bummer Summer Tour" and have just posted their first tour vlog. In the ten minute update, you will see them chuck water balloons during Cornerstone, made up awards, and probably the greatest hardcore freestyle ever.
Haste The Day has posted their first "Attack Of The Wolf King Tour" vlog.
Through Solace’s drummer Sean suddenly quit the band right before tour, forcing them to drop off. The band will release a split EP which will feature the former drummer on the album. They are currently seeking a replacement and have no plans to disband.

Norma Jean's new album "Meridional" is out today. If you're undecided about how good it is, you can stream the entire album on their MySpace page. If you'd like to read the lyrics to the new album along with several explanations about them by the band, they have posted them here.
August Burns Red will be releasing their live CD/DVD called "Home", September 28th on Solid State Records. The band also announced the contest winners for the best homemade video for their song "Mariana's Trench." Both videos can be viewed on Battery's Facebook.
The Color Morale has just posted a video for their song "Humannequin," which can be seen here.
The Overseer recently had their trailer stolen and lost over $20,000 worth of stuff. You can help the band here.
Texas In July has signed to Equal Vision Records. The band is currently touring Europe until July 23rd.

The Devil Wears Prada has finally unveiled the meaning behind their mysterious website tdwpslays.com. They will be releasing a new "Zombie EP" which is all about, well, zombies. The EP will be out on August 24th and if you pre-order the new album, it comes with a limited edition TDWP comic book. They have also posted a new song from their EP called "Outnumbered." You can hear the new song and link to the different pre-orders on their myspace.
The Famine has told Indie Vision Music that they will be heading into the studio next month. The band was previously in the studio recording their follow up album when their studio burnt down and the band lost all of their gear and songs in the fire. They have also replaced their lead singer since then, so yes…there are a lot of questions to be answered. In the meantime, you can stay up to date by following them on twitter.
